Format – strokeplay over 18 holes, team of 4
• Each club fields a team of 4 players drawn from those with the best gross score in the previous season’s 6 monthly medals
• Only medal scores over the players home course count for qualification.
• The lady captain hosting the competition should send entry forms to other clubs about a month before the event.
• Clubs are required to submit their team and reserve to the host club’s lady captain 10 days prior to play for draw to be made and cards prepared.
• No two players from the same club may play together.
• The winning team has the lowest gross score when all 4 cards are counted.
• If the event of a tie count back in on 9 holes, 6 holes, 3 holes, 1 hole and if still a tie the trophy is shared.
• Draw will be announced in the Free Press & Gazette, on our Facebook Page and website at www.wlga.co.uk
• Cup is presented on the night by the host lady captain and at the WLGA presentation evening at St Medan on 5th August
